This is an astonishing Navajo turquoise and silver concho belt. This very old concho belt consists of 10 fabulous old hand wrought silver conchos that each measure around 2-1/2" X 2". Resting in the center of each beautiful concho is a dome shaped Blue Gem turquoise stone. Each concho consists of old natural patina with incredible bordering sun stampings. The amazing buckle measures around 3" X 2-1/4" and consists of fabulous repoussed shells with accenting sun stampings and four remarkable teardrop shaped Blue Gem turquoise stones. The original leather belt is attached and the piece is in wonderful condition. The largest stone measures around 1/2" x 1/4". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1930's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 32" and 39". Sturdy 233 grams.
